Institutional Ceremony

The Crossing

The Threshold is crossed twice.

First, when a person accepts the journey.

Again, when that person accepts responsibility for others.

Once each year, members who have met the required standard return to the Threshold. The ceremony is quiet, deliberate, and witnessed by the institution. It marks a transition, not a performance.
